The BBMP has the authority to demolish the existing structure or even levy a hefty fine as a penalty for illegal construction within its jurisdiction.

By following the correct procedure, including submission of the appropriate documents and payment of the prescribed fee, the verification will be completed by the concerned BBMP authorities, and you will have all of your documents approved and cleared within 30 days.

BBMP Building Plan Sanction rules or Process Flow
  • The approval application forms can be downloaded and submitted online or offline from the official website.

    • Encumbrance Certificate

    • Change of Landuse Copy
    • Revenue Copy
    • Architect License Copy
Although the first and foremost task of getting the sanctions from the BBMP might seem like a mammoth task, it is a seamless process with the submission of the correct documents. After paying the prescribed fee and submitting the original documents, don’t forget to get a copy of the acknowledgment from the office or the web portal. The process of confirmation and verification takes about 30 days for the concerned authorities.
